Last night I saw the best movie of my life. Add this to Tom Shadyac's best documentary "I AM," and I now have the social vision that will carry me forward for the rest of my life. You can watch the movie with English subtitles if you don't understand Costa Rican Spanish. Here is the link:

The core message of the movie is that no matter what, we are forever tied together with our family and friends with whom we have shared large chapters of our lives. And this is not just the core message of the movie, it is actually the core element of the entire Costa Rican culture. We can say it all in one word in Spanish:
Atados
Translate it and it just means "tied" in English, but in Costa Rica this little word means so much more. As the movie teaches:
We are only "whole" because we are "tied."
